At a bilateral meeting, Reem bint Ibrahim al-Hashemi met with David Schenker, US Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, to discuss regional security issues and how to ensure support for development assistance for regional stability.

Bilateral meetings were later held with the Foreign Ministers of Guyana and Jamaica, where the latter signed a mutual visa exemption agreement between the UAE and Jamaica, which will enter into force upon completion of the constitutional procedures of the two countries.

In turn, Minister of Community Development Hessa Bint Issa Buhumaid stressed the UAE's commitment to meeting the needs of people of concern and promoting their integration in society.It participated with a number of ambassadors and consuls in the Bowling event with the Special Olympics team in New York, in cooperation with the General Consulate of the State.

She said Abu Dhabi hosted the Olympic Games in March 2019, and the UAE was committed to empowering people of determination.
