• 'Tandem Case'.The Villarejo Police also spied for' Billy the Boy '

A former chief inspector of the General Police Information Commission has confessed to the judge that he carried out illegal espionage on behalf of Juan Antonio González Pacheco , popularly known as Billy El Niño . This former police high command has appeared as accused in the Tandem case after it has been proven that he provided confidential information to the companies of Commissioner José Manuel Villarejo.

After being specifically requested by the Prosecutor for espionage at the request of the historical member of the Social Political Brigade , Riaño denied in the first instance having provided any information. However, after being expressly required on this matter by the defenses of Commissioner Enrique García Castaño , he ended up admitting, in a heated tone, the facts that were already revealed by the latter months ago in one of his appearances.

Riaño justified himself before the judge and Anti-Corruption by pointing out that Billy El Niño "is a patriot" and that at one point "he feared for his life". He added that he suffered follow-ups and persecution by the "leftist media" and that in that context he decided to help him. "I would have done it with anyone in that situation," added the former chief inspector. "I provided him with the data of the license plates of the cars that followed him and the traffic of calls from the phones of the people who were harassing him," he said, acknowledging that he skipped the official channels to provide confidential information.

As this newspaper reported, Billy the Child held regular meetings with Riaño, to which police sources add that he was requesting data related to the traffic of calls from individuals to market them through their private companies. Not surprisingly, the leakage of confidential information to González Pacheco came to cause Riaño to be internally alerted to stop having relations with Billy El Niño and avoid any leakage of reserved information.

The company created by González Pacheco is Spas Consultores , whose acronym refers to its corporate purpose - Services for the Prevention of Heist and Kidnapping - which was created together with the curator Jesús Martínez Torres . This company, established in January 1997 for "private security activities", has been active and has presented annual accounts until 2016.

The former head of the Central Operating Unit ( Ucao ), Commissioner Enrique García Castaño, put investigators on the track in one of his latest statements in the framework of the broad confession he has been lending during the last months to the Central Court of Instruction number 6 of the National Court in the so-called Villarejo case .

This former police high command revealed to judge Manuel García Castellón and the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor that information inquiries requested by González Pacheco were made by some members of the unit without his authorization or his consent, an end that Riaño has denied, which he has charged against García Castaño.

All these data were accessed by the General Information Commission under the official pretext that you need them for operations related to terrorism, corruption or organized crime.
