by Tiziana Di Giovannandrea 22 September 2019Your condition has improved slightly after the treatment of the doctors of the Pediatric ward, at the San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro.

The child of not even two years, the son of a vegan couple who was hospitalized for malnutrition, in recent days, is recovering.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the Pediatrics Unit of the San Francesco Hospital in Nuoro are trying to reconstruct the facts relating to the small, vegan son, who ended up in hospital. The doctors are considering the possibility of making a formal complaint to the police to protect the interests of the child of less than two years, arrived in the department in recent days with a weight significantly lower than age.

The parents, both vegans, would have accompanied the child to the Emergency Room of the Nuorese hospital when they saw that his health was serious. The couple, who has another older child, according to the leaders of the ASL of the capital of Barbagia, is actively collaborating with the doctors who are treating the child.

However the doctors as soon as the child's condition will allow it, they plan to set up a food plan that is congruous to the development of the child, which will involve the parents. At the moment the child is cared for day and night and next to him there are the parents who would have been justified, to the questions of the doctors on why the child was in precarious health conditions: "We are vegans and so is he".

Meanwhile in Nuoro the news of the hospitalized child has been around the city and in some chats of parents who know the family, the news is circulating that the couple of parents, besides being vegan, would also be against vaccines. However, the item was not confirmed by the Nuoro health authority.
