22 September 201923.00 Iran has decided to release the British oil tanker 'Stena Impero', seized on 19 July in a coup and response that had seen, at the beginning of the month, the seizure of an Iranian oil tanker in the Strait of Gibraltar. The "Stena Impero" is waiting to leave the Islamic Republic, the Hormozgan port authorities report, to head towards "international waters". The Iranian oil tanker, suspected of violating the embargo on Syria, was released on 18 August.
