"A local resident accused of causing injuries to two Russian soldiers of the 201st Russian military base located in the city of Bohtar, Khatlon region of Tajikistan, has been detained and is under investigation," TASS quoted the head of the press center of the Tajik Interior Ministry, Umarjon Emomali.
On September 21, two servicemen of the 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan, who were on personal affairs in the city of Bokhtar, were injured as a result of an attack on a mentally ill person.
The Russian Embassy in Tajikistan reported that it is monitoring the situation.
