Activists on social media circulated a video of a supporter of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi calling on him to "save Egypt from traitors," she said.

With loud and lamenting cries, the Egyptian woman urged the army and police to come down quickly "to realize the situation and save Egypt from being lost".

The appeal came as thousands of Egyptians demonstrated in downtown Cairo and in different governorates since Friday evening demanding Sisi step down, in response to an invitation by Egyptian businessman and actor Mohamed Ali.

It is noteworthy that Mohamed Ali worked as a contractor with the Egyptian army for several years, before he recently began broadcasting videos revealing the corruption of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his wife and a number of army leaders.
