Zakharova called the resolution of the European Parliament an example of falsification

“This resolution is nothing more than a set of revisionist statements,” said Zakharova in a comment on the Foreign Ministry’s website.

She noted that "the European Parliament was marked by another outrageous attempt to equate Nazi Germany - the aggressor country - and the USSR, whose peoples, at the cost of enormous sacrifices, liberated Europe from fascism."

Earlier, during a briefing, Zakharova commented on the words of American General Jeffrey Lee Harrigyan, who announced that the United States had a plan to break through air defense in Kaliningrad in case of “aggression” from Russia.
