Activists on social media circulated video clips of demonstrators who shot large-size photos of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the cities of Damietta and Mansoura.

Hundreds of demonstrators chanted slogans against Sisi, demanding him leave, before tearing up his pictures.

For the first time since the overthrow of late Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi in a military coup on July 3, 2013, Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo witnessed hundreds of citizens protesting against President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, demanding his departure.

Alexandria, Suez, Damietta, Dakahlia and Gharbia are witnessing other demonstrations against Sisi and his regime.
