Actor Pavel Ustinov, sentenced to 3.5 years for using violence against a riot police during an unauthorized rally on August 3 in Moscow, said during a meeting of the Moscow City Court that he did not intend to hide or threaten participants in the process if he was released from jail.
"I do not intend to hide, anyone to threaten or impede the consideration of the case," Tass quoted Ustinova as saying.
On September 20, the Moscow City Court is considering a petition from the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office to change the measure of restraint on recognizance not to leave the actor Pavel Ustinov.
