These are two people with connections to the girl who was arrested, police say without wanting to go into details.
- We caught them last night in Gothenburg. We will try to hear them during the day here, says Sten-Rune Timmersjö, group manager at the unit for serious crimes in the Fyrbodal police area.
The two persons should be reasonably suspected, which is the lower degree of suspicion, but according to Timmersjö there is still information in the investigation that points to the two persons.
The girl had still not been found on Friday morning and police stated that they were using large resources to try to find her. During the day, the police focus, among other things, on trying to find out how the girl left the foster home where she was located.
- We will go through surveillance cameras to see if we find any pictures of vehicles. We want to see if any vehicle has moved on the spot, or if she has driven from there in a bus, for example, says Timmersjö.
A national alarm has already been issued after the girl's disappearance. According to SVT News West, the police fear that the girl will be taken out of the country. The girl also did not show up with her parents, police say to Dagens Nieuws.
