15 part-time firefighters work at the fire station in Hallen. At the station today there is a fire truck, a rescue car and a tanker truck. There is now a proposal to move the fire truck from Hallen.
- We were presented with it as a final decision a few days ago, says Håkan Karlsson, strength leader at the station in Hallen to SVT Nyheter Jämtland. Only after our protest action have they said that it is a proposal.
During the afternoon, a meeting will be held at the municipality of Åre about the situation that has arisen, but Håkan Eriksson is unsure if it will help.
- Although it would change, I find it hard to believe that it will mean that all part-timers will return.
