The court released Pavel Ustinov on his own recognizance

“The court ruled: to change the preventive measure from detention to recognizance not to leave,” RIA Novosti quoted the judge as saying.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office asked to change the sentence to Ustinov. As noted in the department, they do not dispute the evidence of the actor’s guilt, however, they consider the sentence to be excessively harsh.

In this regard, the prosecutor’s office asked to change the sentence to “punishment not related to real imprisonment”.

Later, the Moscow City Court reported that they had received a corresponding submission from the Prosecutor General.
