According to the diplomatic department in Taiwan, the South Pacific island nation Kiribati, which had a diplomatic relationship, decided to establish a diplomatic relationship with China by making a disconnect with Taiwan. This week, the Solomon Islands of the same South Pacific had just broken out with Taiwan.
This is the seventh country that has decided to establish a diplomatic relationship with Taiwan since the Democratic Party ’s president, President Hidehide Wen, took office.
