This is reported by RBC with reference to updated estimates of the ministry.

It is noted that the value of all hunting resources in Russia, which includes 21 species of animals, amounted to 267 billion rubles at the end of 2018, which is more than 400 times higher than the estimate of these animals at the end of 2017 - 0.6 billion rubles.

According to the publication, the most valued were elk (88 billion rubles), roe deer (46.7 billion rubles) and wild reindeer (28.7 billion rubles). The cheapest in the updated list of the ministry were mouflons - 25 million rubles.

It is clarified that official rates were used to assess the damage caused to animals, that is, the cost of compensation from poachers for a killed individual. Such a fee is, for example, 80 thousand rubles per moose.

According to the portal, after the update, the price of one beast, based on the cost of all animals of the same species, which was divided into livestock according to the ministry, approximately corresponds to the official rates.

In February, URA.RU reported that two poachers carrying more than 1,400 sable skins were detained in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
