Berlin (AP) - For more climate protection in Germany, a CO2 price of gasoline and diesel, heating oil and natural gas is more expensive. This is what the leaders of the Union and the SPD have agreed, the German press agency learned from coalition circles. The start of the pricing of climate-damaging carbon dioxide should begin in 2021, at a low entry level. Initially, petrol and diesel will be increased by about 3 cents per liter, and then continue to 9 to 15 cents per liter by 2026. The coalition also agreed on relief. So the commuter flat rate from 2021 should be raised.
