Last season ended already in March since the team finished in tenth place after the base series. This year, the team is favored by the Swedish coaches together with Modo. And even though the favorite team doesn't have much importance when the series starts, the new sports manager believes in the team.
- It is always fun to be tipped high, but you know how it is in this industry and it really is important that we set our basic game right from the start. I think it has looked good in the training matches and now I look forward to it starting, ”says Björklöven's sports manager Per Kenttä.
Before coming to Björklöven he was two seasons in Oskarshamn, which in the spring trick a place in SHL. And the goal with Björklöven is the same.
