The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to launch 100 binary, three, four and five-digit number plates for HIKLMNOPQRSTUVWXZ vehicles, including 20 numbers for the first time with the expo code, in a new auction, the second after 100.
Registration for the auction will start from tomorrow.
Participants can register at the auction through the following channels: www.rta.ae, the Customer Happiness Centers in Umm Ramool, Deira and Al Barsha. They can also register on the day of auction at 2:00 pm.
Abdulla Yousuf Al Ali, Executive Director of the Licensing Corporation, said: “The Authority will launch the super number (T 50), which is expected to be of interest to enthusiasts of license plates in Dubai. A number bearing the symbol (EXPO), after the most important event in the country, the Expo 2020.
Najib Mohammed Al Ali, Executive Director of Dubai Expo 2020, said: “The numbers that will bear the Expo code have been chosen to contribute to raising awareness of this important event, for example 1851, the date of the first International Expo, 1970 the first UAE participation in the International Expo, and the 2013 UAE victory. Expo 2020 Dubai is set to become one of the most versatile and comprehensive versions of Expo in history, and every Emirati and anyone who lives on the land of the UAE will be proud of it. ”
