The property is one of three buildings that were built in the Sadelmakaren neighborhood and were initially intended as rental housing. Two of them have been converted into tenant-owner associations and are out for sale.

Currently 11 out of 88 apartments are sold.

"We will not be able to sell all the apartments during this year so we concluded that we can rent them out," says Carina Weir, CEO of Enköping Rental Housing.

The rent will be paid by the affected insurance companies and will be at market level.

- We have had a dialogue with the tenant association and had negotiated the rents for all three houses before deciding to remodel two of them. So we can use the same rents that are in the already rented property, ”she says.

Those affected are expected to be able to move in as of Monday.

- According to the information we have received from the insurance companies, they need 32 apartments, says Carina Weir.

It will be a year before tenants at Kärrhöksgränd in Enköping can move back again, according to the property owner Brogripen.
