It was on Thursday morning that it was discovered that the petrol station at the Bilbolaget in Kiruna was completely shattered. An incident that will cost millions to fix, according to the company. This is just one of many damages to the car trade in the municipality during the past six months. Two weeks ago, another company was hit by vandalism when 26 cars were destroyed.

"Affordable customers and staff"

Now all car dealers in Kiruna are teaming up and promising a reward of SEK 20,000 to the person who gives signal elements to the police leading to the arrest.

- The damage to our facilities caused by these people costs a lot for the whole community. It affects customers and our staff. Now we will do everything we can to prevent the damage from happening and I am glad that we are several car companies working together, says Roger Edholm, CEO of the car company Norrbotten.

The staff feel that something changed during the year, that the damages become more serious and increase. If the crimes continue, the situation will eventually become unsustainable, they write in the press release.
