Small landlords do the least in the country to reduce meat consumption

According to a survey that SVT has done, small landlords are the ones who do the least to reduce their meat consumption. At the same time, the influence of meat is a hot topic of debate.

Every third Swedish has reduced its meat consumption for the sake of the climate, but in Småland they like their meat. There, only one in four people have cut down on their carnivores.

- If you ate meat six times a week before, then maybe I eat I eat four times a week now, says Rose Marie Blankenburg.

The survey also shows that 66 per cent of small landers think that meat production has little or no impact on the climate at all.

- I think it's mostly electronics, such as refrigerators and things that damage the ozone layer. I don't think it has anything to do with meat, says Adam Jonsson.
