- It looks to be a sunny weekend with temperatures that can rise up to 20 degrees both Saturday and Sunday, says Per-Erik Åberg, meteorologist at SVT.

Expect morning ice cream

The air coming in over Skåne is humid and therefore the Scans can count on haze and fog in the mornings before it bursts up.

- It may look a bit gray in the mornings but then it will be sunny and warm, says Per-Erik Åberg.

Where does the heat come from?

- The heat wave comes from the southwest probably from a tropical storm that has been across the Atlantic. When the hurricanes have done their thing, they usually bring heat to us, says SVT's meteorologist Per-Erik Åberg.

Plus degrees on the weekend nights

Is it still cold at night?

- No, the cold we have had lately will disappear, so there will be no risk of freezing nights on the weekend. Notwithstanding, it can get cold with the risk of frost, says Per-Erik Åberg, meteorologist at SVT.

Even on Monday it will be sunny and warm. Later in the week, a less severe weather pulls over Skåne with rain and wind.

In spite of wind and precipitation, it will remain mostly mild over the next week.
