- The heat wave comes from the southwest probably from a tropical storm that has been across the Atlantic. When the hurricanes have done their thing, they usually bring heat to us, says SVT's meteorologist Per-Erik Åberg.Plus degrees on the weekend nights
Is it still cold at night?
- No, the cold we have had lately will disappear, so there will be no risk of freezing nights on the weekend. Notwithstanding, it can get cold with the risk of frost, says Per-Erik Åberg, meteorologist at SVT.

In spite of wind and precipitation, it will remain mostly mild over the next week.
