Sinai activist Massad Abu Fagr continued to broadcast videos attacking the regime of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, accusing him and his son Mahmoud, the general intelligence officer, of corruption and exploiting the volatile situation in the Sinai for significant financial gains.

In his latest video broadcast yesterday evening, Abu Fagr accused Sisi of being an agent of Israel, affirming that he joined the demonstration call by actor and contractor Mohamed Ali, who demanded Sisi to step down or face demonstrations on Friday.

Abu Fagr, who was a member of the constitution writing committee after the military coup in 2013, called on the Egyptian people to rally in all streets and squares on Friday evening, and "not to return to their homes only after Sisi prison, his son Mahmoud, and his wife Intisar."

He added: "Do not return only Sisi page and fully involved in our history; this person is not only corrupt, and my problem with him is not corruption, but murder and gang actions, and because he is a spy and a client."

Abu Fagr renewed his accusation against Sisi and his son Mahmoud of running a network of smuggling of goods and money through the tunnels and Rafah crossing into the Gaza Strip, generating a monthly profit estimated at $ 45 million, of which Sisi and his son take 15 million.

He pointed out that Sisi Abad 14 villages in Sinai by air and missile shelling to force their people to leave, although they are not on the border.

"This is the first time in history that regimes have done this. Even the Israeli occupation has not. Why are women arrested? Is this humiliation for the people?"

Mass graves
The Sinai-based activist living abroad spoke of "mass graves in different areas in Sinai where many people are buried after being physically liquidated," stressing that he has the data and places of a number of those mass graves, he said.

"Sisi is working to erase the Egyptian identity of Sinai for the eyes of his friend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the American president," he said.
