A new book by Mikhail Gorbachev will be published in the days of a kind of political will in which he will present his outlook for the 21st century.

The book will be titled "The Future of the Comprehensive World," to be launched from Germany on September 23 and France on October 2 by the publishing house Flammarion.

"Global politics is heading for a very dangerous turn," Gorbachev, 88, said in a section of the book distributed by the publishing house. "The current military activities have the characteristics of a real war."

"Ensuring peace is the prerequisite for controlling global problems, such as the environmental crisis, international terrorism, migrations and all other challenges that focus the attention of all nations and international organizations," the Nobel Peace Prize laureate said.

The book will be published days before the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989, while Mikhail Gorbachev was former Soviet leader.
