Patric Ohlson is chairman of LRF in Värmland. He runs a farm where he breeds both cattle and sheep. For him, animals are both a livelihood and part of a sustainable food production.
Therese Ericsson is party leader for the Animal Party. A party formed in 2013. The party aims to completely abolish the meat industry because of its impact on the climate and because it is ethically wrong to shorten the life of animals to have them as food.
They are as far apart as possible in the question of whether we should continue with meat production. But one thing, they agree: the debate has gone too far.
