The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida and the Vox municipal spokesman, Javier Ortega Smith, have engaged in a tense discussion during the minute of silence for the last victim of gender violence.
Vox members announced that they were not going to go to the minute of organized silence to condemn the last sexist crime that has taken place in Ciudad Lineal. However, they have finally attended by surprise with their own banner with the motto: "Violence has no gender. Against all types of domestic violence."
The mayor has been annoyed by the boycott of Vox and has faced Ortega Smith to recriminate his performance.
