Yoshiko visits Schönbrunn Palace, Austria's world heritage site September 19, 4:18

Mrs and Mrs. Akiko, the second daughters of Akishinomiya, who are visiting Austria officially, visited the World Heritage Palace.

On the morning of 18th local time, Yoshiko visited Schonbrunn Palace, a world cultural heritage palace, at the former residence of the Habsburg family, which once flourished in Europe.

Yoshiko was able to see the ceiling picture depicting the prosperity of the time and the large hall decorated with chandeliers.

I also visited a bedroom used by Maria Theresia, known as Marie Antoinette's mother, to see murals with flowers and birds.

After that, Yoshiko attended the restoration ceremony of the Japanese garden in the palace garden. The Japanese garden was designed by an Austrian gardener over 100 years ago, and the restoration of the damaged bamboo fence was made after the 150th anniversary of the friendly relationship between the two countries.

Mr. Yoshiko was looking at the beautiful garden while listening to explanations from both Japan and Austria who were involved in the restoration.

Yoshiko will go to Hungary, the second visiting country, on the 19th of local time.
