The State Duma surprised at the plans of the Ukrainian general to “return” Crimea
State Duma deputy from Crimea Ruslan Balbek commented on a plan to “return” Crimea to Ukraine proposed by the former head of foreign intelligence of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh in an interview with RT.
“It seems that the ex-chief intelligence officer of Ukraine forgot about the Russian status of the Crimea and makes plans for the peninsula, as if it were his personal summer residence ... But didn’t they forget to ask her opinion and the opinion of the inhabitants of Russia?” Balbek said.
The deputy suggested that Malomuzh, leaving the post of head of foreign intelligence of Ukraine, decided to start a career as a science fiction writer.
“As a result, all these“ returnees ”of Crimea are united by one thing - absurdity and absurdity, disorientation in the international situation and blind faith in Western assistance,” the parliamentarian concluded.
Earlier, as media reported, the former head of foreign intelligence of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh spoke about a plan to “return” Crimea to the country.
According to him, the gradual formation of a powerful model in Ukraine and the taking of the peninsula under full social, economic, energy and water control are supposed.
Then, as Malomuzh emphasized, Crimea should become dependent on Kiev’s international partners.
At the end of August, Zelensky, speaking at the first meeting of the Rada of the new convocation, named the main tasks of the parliament, including the “return” of Crimea.
Crimea became the Russian region after the referendum of 2014, in which the majority of the inhabitants of the peninsula called for reunification with Russia.
