Researchers at KI have looked at care data for 4.6 million Swedes in working age between 2006 and 2015. National drug and health records show that 202,000 of them suffered from type-2 diabetes during the current period.

The results also show that some occupational groups are at a much higher risk of suffering from type-2 diabetes than others. Here are the occupational groups that are affected to the highest and lowest extent for men and women, respectively.

The comparison applies to the 30 most common occupational categories for men and women. Read more about the study here.
