The presidential ombudsman for children of Russia, Anna Kuznetsova, announced the suspension of the case of the deprivation of the parental rights of mother Aisha Azhigova, who was beaten by an aunt in Ingushetia.

“The court suspended the trial of the deprivation of Lydia’s parental rights due to the lack of sufficient evidence, the investigators have no questions for the mother,” the children's ombudsman told Instagram.

The child was taken to a hospital in Ingushetia on July 4 with multiple bodily injuries. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on this fact. On suspicion of committing a crime, the aunt of the victim was arrested.

On August 7, at the Roshal Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology, the girl was amputated from the dead part of her right hand, including the wrist and forearm.

Earlier it was reported that Aisha first met with her mother.
