- The police will hold a photo confrontation with the victims so that they will have the opportunity to identify the perpetrator, says prosecutor Miona Green.

Yesterday, the police received another notification and now there are a total of 16 reports. The prosecutor says the man is suspected of seven cases of fraud, two cases of illegal threats and seven cases of abuse.

Denies crime

The suspected perpetrator is in his 20s and has in interrogation denied a crime. He was arrested on Tuesday near Fors church in central Eskilstuna.

- The police have conducted a very intensive investigation and obtained good signal elements that have resulted in good information from the public, she says.

Must have mocked or beaten women

Police have previously stated that the suspected perpetrator has used two approaches. The man must have cycled around and hit or spit on women.

- There have been totally unprovoked attacks and seemingly random. We have not seen any connection when it comes to the choice of victims. The youngest victim was born in 2003 and the oldest in 1947, so it's a big spread in age and also its appearance, says Miona Green.

She also says that the man must be arrested or released on September 20.
