Nick Carter , one of the members of Backsteet Boys , has filed a restraining order against his brother, also singer Aaron Carter .
Nick himself has been the one who made the announcement through a message posted on his Twitter account in which he says his brother has "threatened to kill" his pregnant wife and unborn child .
The Backstreet Boys singer says he has taken the measure along with his sister Angel and "after careful consideration" and says they have "no choice but to take all possible measures to protect us and our family."
Despite the harshness of the situation, Nick Carter argues that he and his sister still love Aaron and hope he "receives the right treatment he needs before he hurts himself or anyone else."
Aaron Carter: "I don't want to talk to them again"
Aaron Carter, who spoke on television about his drug addiction and drug use problems last week, has responded to his brother's statement in the same way.
" I've never threatened anyone . I'm horrified by this and I don't want to talk to them again," he defended in a Twitter message.
In the interview that Aaron Carter gave a few days ago, he confessed that he is suffering from a series of mental disorders that force him to take a large amount of medication. According to himself, he has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, manic depression and anxiety .
