"The fire started in one of the apartments and the man has breathed in smoke and suffered minor external fire damage," says Kenneth Johannesson, the police officer on duty.
The alarm came at 23.49 and when police and emergency services arrived at the scene, there was a heavy fire in the house and three stairwells had to be evacuated.
It is still unclear what caused the fire and at 01 o'clock the fire was not yet under control.
