“At the meeting in the White House, the presidents will discuss the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between Finland and the USA, including with regard to the security of Europe and the Arctic. Also on the agenda will be ways to develop trade and technological cooperation, ”the report said.
The meeting of the heads of state is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Finland and the United States.
In August, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö held talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
