Tottenham hits bone and misses European comeback: last year's unfortunate Champions League finalist was held in check by Olympiakos (2-2), Wednesday on first day of European Queen's competition .

The Spurs had yet started ideally, scoring two goals in less than five minutes by Harry Kane (26th) on penalty and then Lucas Moura (30th).

But it was not counting on the pungnacity of the Greeks, unbeaten in their last 18 matches in all competitions. Daniel Podence is the first, came to reduce the mark (44th) before Mathieu Valbuena does come to equalize penalty (54th).

The draw is certainly not a good deal for Tottenham but last year, the Spurs had also scored just one point in their first three group matches before making their way to the first league final of champions in their history. He then lost to Liverpool (2-0).

The Spurs will play their next two UEFA Champions League home games on 1 October against Bayern Munich and on 22 October against Belgrade Red Star.
