Russian Foreign Ministry checks the detention of the head of Sputnik Moldova

Earlier, the agency said that Chisinau was detained the head of Sputnik Moldova.

Later, the Moldovan Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office stated that they could not confirm the fact of the detention of Novosadyuk. At the same time, the department reported that investigative actions are being taken against the journalist.

In May, upon arrival at Vilnius Airport, Sputnik Lithuania chief editor Marat Kassem was detained.

According to him, this step was taken with the wording "Threat to national security."
