The results of the first round of the Tunisian presidential election fell on Tuesday 17 September. Kaïs Saeïd and Nabil Karoui are qualified for the second round. They receive respectively 18.40% and 15.58% of the vote.

These results confirm polls published as soon as the polls close, Sunday, September 15. Abdelfattah Mourou, the candidate of Ennahdha, comes in third place with 12.88% of the vote.
The announcement of these results was greeted by an explosion of joy in the camp of Nabil Karoui.
