The Court of Madrid has ratified this Tuesday the conviction of Miki Nadal for slight abuse of his wife Carola Escámez with which he has initiated a divorce process, as published by the newspaper El País . Miki Nadal (51) and Carola Escámez have seen each other again in court. The Justice has considered that the comedian committed a continued crime of minor abuse, and sentenced Nadal to a penalty of 20 days of work for the benefit of the community. The former couple separated before summer after five years of marriage and with the breakup a tortuous legal process began, with complaints of harassment, mother-in-law and mockery in between.

After the breakup, Carola filed a lawsuit for vexations that she won in the first instance, however, the sentence could be appealed, something Miki did. That is why the former marriage has met again in the courts of violence against women.
This is the first time that the couple agrees in public after a break that ended a marriage full of difficulties. The first one came after Carmen's birth in May 2015, her only daughter in common. The birth of the little girl evidenced the bad relationship between Nadal and his wife's family, who never saw with good eyes the union between the wealthy young woman and the humorist.
In January 2017, the shooter suffered an ectopic pregnancy for which they lost her second son. That episode led the athlete to suffer a depression, although the marriage remained united even when in June 2018 Carmen, Carola's mother, denounced Miki Nadal because she could not see her granddaughter.
