"I'm always there to defend their interests (French, ed) and I'll be there if there is not someone else emerging," she added.
Asked if she wanted the same duel between her and Emmanuel Macron in 2022, Marine Le Pen replied: "why not? Why would it be mandatory that there should be at each election figures that are necessarily new ? "
"Beyond people, of course that the confrontation (in 2022) will be between a globalist and a national, between two visions that are actually contradictory," said the head of the RN.
Marine Le Pen believes that the head of state is already campaigning. "From the moment the president embarks on the presidential campaign, I will not let him run alone so I am also on the starting line," she said.
The other parties, "who sail on sight, who no longer have convictions like LR, are likely to disappear or to be melted or to be torn between these two new poles", according to the head of the RN.
