According to him, "in general, the process will be very lengthy," since Ukraine is a "rather big country."

He specified that currently 11 thousand prosecutors work in Ukraine.

“After this, there should be an addition of new personnel, we open up the possibility for people who did not have the experience of a prosecutor to work in prosecution bodies. I think this reform will last for a maximum of two years, ”Ryaboshapka said.

He added that the key aspect of the reform is the re-certification of prosecutors, as well as the opportunity to renew the staff.

Earlier Ryaboshapka named his priorities as prosecutor general for the coming years.
