Assignment review has told of 19-year-old Hassan who according to police has been suspected of 221 crimes since 2015, several times escaped from closed youth care and who is now in prison.

On February 19, 2018, one of the crimes for which Hassan is later convicted.

Then he has been free for three days and just got out of a state youth home, Sis-home, after serving closed youth care, and lives in a training apartment he received from the social service.

Lars Fernandez drives into a petrol station in the Midsummer market in Stockholm. He just manages to get out of the car before Hassan and two other youths run towards him, with masked faces.

- They wanted my car keys. Then I said no and they hit me on the ground. So they continued to ask for the keys, I said no and protected myself in the fetal position in principle. Then one of the guys started kicking me, says Lars Fernandez.

- In the end I felt that 'this is going to end like this', then I let go of everything.

It will end like this?

- Yes, life ends like this. This is how I will die, and then I let go of everything and stopped resisting. Then they got hold of the car key I had in my pocket, jumped into the car and pulled away.

The three youngsters manage to get away. The youngest of them is 15 years. A week later they carry out another car robbery at a parking lot in Nacka.

"No special feelings for the plaintiff"

After twelve days in custody, Hassan is arrested and later sentenced for the two robberies, three serious thefts and receiving.

Assignment review visits him in prison and shows the surveillance films from when Lars was robbed.

Do you feel no guilt at all, do you feel no regrets when you see it?

- If I say this - that I still feel that I've received my punishment for it.

But you caused him some damage.

- Yes.

Do you have any such thoughts about what you set out to do with him, for example?

- It's not fun that way, but I have no special feelings for the goal-holder. But I understand him.

Hassan is really called something else.
