Since 2014, the Royal Family has invited the Swedish counties to a Swedish dinner. The tradition began with the court wishing to thank the counties for participating in the King's celebration of their 40 years on the throne, and every year since then the governors have been proposing dinner guests, who have made significant efforts locally, regionally or nationally.

Here are those who can go to Sweden dinner with the court now on Friday, together with Governor Maria Larsson:

Marie Lindqvist-Pahlstad and Jenny Helldén

The entrepreneurs who brought the silence into the office with their sound-dampening interior. They also won a business award at the Örebro Gala 2019 with their company.

Biologist and inventor Björn Lagerman

Björn has been praised worldwide for his innovation Beescan - a program that can monitor the health of bees and protect them from mite attacks. Björn is not unknown to the royal family, having previously received a prize from, among others, Prince Carl Philip.

Örebroare of the Year 2019 and artistic director Gregor Zubicky

Gregor is the artistic leader of one of the world's leading orchestras touring the world. The motivation for the invitation is that he has helped increase interest in classical music.
