A change for the turfists: M6 will start broadcasting major horse races, including the prestigious Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, and its 6Play platform will now broadcast the Quinté +, as part of a new partnership.

This agreement with the organizers of horse races provides that M6 and its pay channel Paris Première will broadcast live the four main events of the sector in France: the Arc de Triomphe, the Prix d'Amérique, the Grand Prix de France and the Prix de Diane. In addition, Paris Première will broadcast four other major races.

M6 will also launch an entertainment program around horse racing. It will be a game, which should be called "Top Start: the race for gifts". It will be broadcast every Saturday morning live and in public, and hosted by Carine Galli.

This partnership will begin with the release of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 6th, the flagship event of the equestrian season.

But the main change, big for fans of hippism, is the Quinté +, which will no longer be broadcast on TNT. It will now be live on 6Play, the online platform of the M6 group, every day at 13:47 (a schedule unchanged), and this from 7 October.

A change in broadcasting, from traditional TV to the internet, which punters will have to get used to but which could give a boost to the public Quinté +.

This follows the non-renewal of a partnership established three years ago between the TF1 group and the PMU, which expired at the beginning of the month.

In this context, TF1 broadcast some major events and its news channel LCI broadcast daily Quinté + live. But this partnership left some sailors on their hunger, LCI having repeatedly overtaken the Quinté +, to give priority to other events.

The Quinté + and the main prizes remain parallel broadcast in encrypted on the chain Equidia.
