Four years ago, Karlstad Municipality sold Stadshuset on Drottninggatan to the IT company Zynapp's poverty company. The company, which was aiming to be bigger than Facebook, would employ many people in the IT industry and the purchase of the City Hall became a controversial business.

Since June 2019, the employees have not received their salaries, which was confirmed by owner Mikael Solberg. The Union Union therefore filed for bankruptcy at the end of August.

Now the company's CEO and creditor Tomas Olsson have also filed for bankruptcy to Värmland District Court. Tomas Olssons has had an employment contract since April this year, but has also not received his salary for the past two months.
