US President Donald Trump said that Iran is behind the drone attack on Saudi oil facilities, but added that he would like to “avoid a war”. It is reported by Al Jazeera.

“At the moment it looks like this,” he said, answering the question of whether he considers Iran to be involved in the attack on Saudi oil refineries.

According to Trump, “given all this, we would like to avoid” the war.

“I do not want a war with anyone, but we are prepared more than anyone,” he added.

On September 14, Saudi Aramco refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia were attacked by drones. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Hussite Yemeni rebels.

The Arab coalition and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused Iran of attacking sites in Saudi Arabia.

Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Moscow is urging not to rush to conclusions about the perpetrators of attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.
