The PSOE has responded to the proposal launched this Monday by Albert Rivera ensuring that it already meets the three conditions cited by the leader of Citizens and, therefore, awaits the abstention of this party and the PP.

Socialist sources say that "if these are the points, there are no objective reasons" for Citizens and the PP not to refrain.

On Catalonia, Albert Rivera has asked to open a negotiating table between the three parties to study the application of article 155 of the Constitution in the face of the response that independentists can give to the imminent sentence of 1-O. The PSOE responds that "in Catalonia the Government of Spain ensures compliance with the Constitution", which in its opinion satisfies the demands of citizens.

On Navarra, Rivera has said that the Socialists have to "break their pact with Bildu in Navarra", in reference to the abstention that allowed the investiture of María Chivite . The PSOE responds by simply saying that "in Navarra there is a government that defends the Constitution."

Finally, about fiscal policy Rivera has asked not to raise taxes and the PSOE says that Pedro Sánchez wants to "lower taxes to the middle class."

If Pedro Sánchez considers that the PP and Citizens are willing to abstain, he could communicate to King Felipe VI tomorrow that he can submit to another investiture plenary that avoids the repetition of elections
