SK began checking due to a fire in the center "Vector"

“A criminal procedure check is carried out on the fact of a fire in the Virology Research Center“ Vector ”on the basis of the elements of a crime under Art. 143 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Violation of labor protection requirements”), ”the department said.

It is specified that rescuers put out the fire. The supporting structures of the building are not damaged, there is no threat to the population.

Investigators, together with employees of regulatory authorities, establish the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies reported the elimination of fire in the center "Vector". According to preliminary data, in the center there was a clap of air-gas mixture during preparation for painting work. One person was hurt.

In July, URA.RU reported that a criminal case was opened in the Tyumen region after the death of two people as a result of a gas explosion.
