9% of Russians would like to go to Italy, 9% also to France, 7% to the USA and Turkey - 5% dream of visiting Germany.

In Great Britain, as well as in Spain, 4% of respondents would like to visit.

Those who would prefer traveling to Japan, India, China, the CIS countries, Australia to New Zealand, Thailand, as well as to Egypt and other countries of the Middle East - 3% for each destination.

To a lesser extent, Russians are interested in trips to the Czech Republic, Israel, Greece and the Scandinavian countries (2% each).

Part of the respondents (1%) said they simply would like to visit any foreign country.

At the same time, according to the survey, 9% of respondents do not want to go abroad at all.

The NAFI also said that every fifth (21%) resident of the country made tourist trips in Russia over the past year. The number of travelers abroad turned out to be 2.5 times less (8%).

At the same time, it is specified that residents of the North-West Federal District (14%), as well as residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg (15%) more often went abroad.

The survey involved 1,600 Russians over 18 years of age.

Earlier, the data of the border service of the FSB of Russia showed that the number of Russians traveling abroad in the first half of 2019 increased by 1.1 million compared to the same period last year.
