According to RBC, 16.9% of citizens said they could start saving up to 35–45 thousand rubles with income. 27.1% of respondents called the amount at least 45 thousand rubles, and 20.9% - 55 thousand rubles.

According to the study, 59% of the population do not have any savings at all, and of those who still save, a third do it "irregularly and pointwise."

As a rule, Russians save for a rainy day (23.9%), for travel and large household appliances, as well as for an apartment (16.2% each), follows from the survey.
