The dispute between the owner of the street kitchen Mustafa Türkkan and Oskarshamn municipality has been going on for more than 1.5 years after the municipality terminated the lease agreement with Mustafa Türkkan. At the site where the street kitchen is located in central Oskarshamn, parking lots will be built.

Mustafa Türkkan should have left the premises in October last year but has refused and the dispute was driven to negotiations in Kalmar district court. And according to a judgment from Kalmar district court, Mustafa Türkkan must now leave the premises.

- From our perspective, the verdict is quite expected and it is clear in its decision, says Rolf Persson, Deputy Director General.

Awaiting the appeal

Mustafa Türkkan tells SVT on Monday that he intends to appeal the verdict.

- In the meantime there is an opportunity to appeal so we do not act at all and as the verdict is formulated he can conduct business these three weeks until the verdict is enforced. But our plan is to then complete the detailed plan, says Rolf Persson.

But the case does not leave him unmoved.

- I think it's sad throughout this story. There is no winner in this in any way, says Rolf Persson.
