Iran fired about a dozen cruise missiles and more than 20 drones from its territory during an attack on Saudi oil facilities, according to American media.

This was reported by ABC News with reference to a senior representative of the presidential administration Donald trump.

“It was Iran. The Hussites took responsibility for what they did not do, ”the source said.

On September 14, Saudi Aramco refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia were attacked by drones. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Hussite Yemeni rebels.

The Arab coalition fighting in Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia, accused Iran of attacking the kingdom's oil facilities. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused Iran of "an unprecedented attack on global energy supplies."

Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Moscow is urging not to rush to conclusions about the perpetrators of attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani commented on the attack.
